Veteran HFC Application

Honor Flight Columbus accepts applications from America’s Senior Veterans.

Senior Veterans are those who are age 65 and over and served on FULL TIME active duty (outside of any basic training/boot camp and initial training) or over 20 years in the Guard/Reserves.  We will call veterans in sequence by the dates of applications received.  WWII, Korea, and terminally ill veterans will have scheduling priority.

Each veteran will be assigned a trained volunteer guardian. Guardians are selected and assigned to complement the needs of each veteran on a flight.

Safe travel is the goal of everyone at HFC. All assigned guardians are required to complete training (two weeks prior to their assigned Mission) and must meet other requirements including a guardian donation of $450 to help offset costs incurred for their seat on the trip.

Unfortunately, a spouse who is not a veteran may not accompany the veteran.
